The Regensburg Course is specifically designed for residents (3rd year and higher) and surgeons in otorhinolaryngology, maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, dermatology and ophthalmologic surgery who would like to augment their surgical spectrum with facial rejuvenation techniques. Endoscopic brow- and mid face lift, classic extended SMAS and deep plane face lift, blepharoplasty, lasers and peels will be taught within a structured didactic concept, starting with the basics. Step by step demonstration of the anatomy, surgical technique and indications of the procedures will be augmented by surgical videos and live demonstration of procedures. Besides facial rejuvenation techniques, rhinoplasty and otoplasty represent another focus of the course. Surgery of the nasal tip, control of the difficult dorsum and revision rhinoplasty will be included as well as incisionless techniques in otoplasty and correction of the ear lobe.
